We are delighted to have Adam Reid, Head Chef of Simon Rogan’s restaurant, The french in the Midland Hotel in Manchester. Adam is soon to appear in this year’s Great British menu and we are thrilled that he is cooking a five course tasting menu in James St South with his long standing friend David Gillmore, Head Chef of James St South.

Squid with almonds, onions, chives and a broth of barbecued beef

Raw veal, smoked tongue, seaweed and cowberry

Braised turbot, Elderflower butter sauce, Courgette and cockles

Venison, pickled blackberry, salt baked beets and cavolo nero

Pumpkin seed cream, baked squash with crystallised almonds and currant blossom
